Side Navigation

The side navigation bar is the primary navigation element on desktop screens, appearing on the left side of the interface.

Collapsible Design:

• Expanded (240px width): Shows icons and text labels for all navigation items
• Collapsed (64px width): Shows icons only, saving screen space
• Toggle button: Click the expand/collapse button at the bottom of the sidebar to switch between states
• Your preference is saved: Kora remembers whether you prefer expanded or collapsed navigation

• Benefit: Compare animals by clicking through list while keeping details visible

Map Manager:

• Editing tools: Modify existing boundaries, move features, adjust subdivisions

Creating Locations:

1. Click "Create Location" button
2. Click points on map to define boundary polygon
3. System calculates area automatically
4. Add location name, type, and details
5. Save to create new location with precise GPS boundaries

Subdividing Locations:

1. Select parent location
2. Click "Create Subdivision" button
3. Draw subdivision boundary within parent location
4. System validates subdivision fits within parent
5. Name subdivision (paddock name, enclosure number, territory identifier)
6. Save to create subdivision

Adding Location Features:

• Water points: Click location, mark water source position
• Gates: Mark entry/exit points for movement tracking
• Feeding stations: Identify feeding locations for resource management
• Shelter/Infrastructure: Document buildings, shelters, veterinary facilities
• Each feature has GPS coordinates for precise positioning

Visualizing Animal Locations:
